The College of Natural Science Alumni Association awards are presented annually to alumni, faculty and students in recognition of their achievement and excellence.
Awards Program
Hosted by the College of Natural Science Alumni Association, the awards program take place in April of each year in conjunction with Science University. All alumni, faculty, students and friends are invited to attend. Registration is required.

Awards
Outstanding Alumni Award
The Outstanding Alumni Award recognizes alumni for outstanding professional achievement and support of the college or MSU. Recipients exemplify MSU’s commitment to the land-grant mission of research, teaching, and outreach through their dedication to professional, community and/or MSU service.
Recent Alumni Award
The Recent Alumni Award recognizes alumni who have graduated within the past 15 years and have shown outstanding professional growth. Recipients exemplify MSU’s commitment to the land-grant mission of research, teaching, and outreach through their dedication to professional, community and/or MSU service.
Meritorious Faculty Award
The Meritorious Faculty Award is presented to a faculty member who has demonstrated excellence in the areas of teaching and research. Recipients exemplify MSU’s commitment to the land-grant mission of research, teaching, and outreach through their dedication to professional, community and/or MSU service.
Alumni are encouraged to nominate faculty who made a lasting impact on their career.
Tracy A. Hammer Graduate Student Award for Professional Development
The Tracy A. Hammer Graduate Student Award is presented to an outstanding graduate student in support of their professional development. The award includes a one-time scholarship funded by the CNSAA Endowed Scholarship Fund.
Dan Bolin Undergraduate Student Award
The Dan Bolin Undergraduate Award is presented to outstanding undergraduate students who are juniors in the College of Natural Science. The award includes a one-time scholarship funded by the CNSAA Endowed Scholarship Fund.
The funds for the Tracy A. Hammer and Dan Bolin awards are provided by an endowment established by the CNSAA. Your gift to the CNSAA Endowed Scholarship Fund makes a difference and is sincerely appreciated.
Nominations
Nominations for the Outstanding Alumni Award, the Recent Alumni Award, and the Meritorious Faculty Award are submitted by alumni, faculty, students, or friends – anyone may submit a nomination.
Nominations for the Tracy Hammer Graduate Student Award are submitted by faculty and students.
Do you know of a deserving alumnus or faculty member that the College of Natural Science should recognize? Nominate them for a College of Natural Science Alumni Association award. The deadline for 2012 has passed. Nomination forms for 2013 will be available July 1, 2012.
