Alumni Association

The College of Natural Science Alumni Association (CNSAA) was created in 1978 as a constituent organization of the Michigan State University Alumni Association (MSUAA).

The purpose of the CNSAA is to:

  • Promote and support the College of Natural Science; and
  • Foster connections among the alumni, students, and friends of the College of Natural Science.

Membership

Becoming a member of the CNSAA is easy. . . simply join the MSUAA and select “Natural Science” as your college affiliation (located at the bottom of the membership form).

When you join the MSUAA and select “Natural Science” as your college affiliation, you give back to CNS – $11 of your dues is directed to go towards supporting a wide variety of activities for CNS alumni, students, and faculty, including undergraduate research scholarships, awards for our distinguished graduates and instructors, and alumni events for you.

Recent Graduates

Beginning in May 2011, recent graduates qualify for FREE membership in the MSUAA for two years following graduation.

If you’re already a member of the MSUAA, but not sure if you’re a member of the CNSAA, or if you have any other questions about the CNSAA, please contact Elizabeth Wheeler via email or (517) 884-0290.

Board of Directors

The CNSAA is governed by a national Board of Directors comprised of alumni with degrees from programs within the College of Natural Science.

The Board of Directors provides leadership on behalf of the college’s 40,000-plus alumni worldwide. The Board meets 4 times per MSU fiscal year (July 1 – June 30)  – the spring meeting takes place on the campus of MSU, and the other meetings are conducted remotely.

We are always seeking volunteers to serve on the Board of Directors. If you’re interested, please contact contact Elizabeth Wheeler via email or (517) 884-0290 for more information.
