 Post-doctoral Researcher Salary Policy

Beginning October 1, 2011, the minimum salary for a post-doctoral researcher (usually appointed as a research associate or visiting research associate) in the College of Natural Science will be $35,000/year for a full-time appointment, irrespective of the source of funds. The salaries of all post-doctoral researchers appointed after May 1, 2011, should be at this level or greater. Waivers to this policy may be requested by the supervisor through the unit executive officer to the college associate dean for research. After October 1, 2012, waivers will be granted only for extraordinary reasons. Policy (PDF)
